I have almost 20 years of experience in urban gardening, small-scale agriculture, permaculture and ecology. Over the years I have helped numerous friends, family and customers start or improve their gardens.

I can help you plan a layout and calendar to grow more vegetables, herbs, berries and fruits; give you tips on how to better manage so-called “weeds;”  improve your soil fertility; and create more habitat for bugs, birds, and other wildlife.

 

Because I’m a farmer, I only offer these consultations during the winter months, January to March 2026. My standard package is a 2-hour in-person visit to your home garden in Norfolk, Haldimand, Brant, Hamilton, and Burlington, which will include a rudimentary map and calendar. The consultation base price is $120. $20 discounts are possible if we schedule for a day I am doing deliveries (if we have veggies to sell and deliver in Jan-March 2026). Consultations may be available in the wider GTA for $150 (Oakville, Mississauga) to $200 (Toronto).
