It has been a busy Spring for us so far, as we have been filling up the greenhouse, getting the field ready and planting the first succession of cold-hardy crops. This year may look a little different for us, as we are taking a break from the CSA weekly veggie box, but we still have plenty going on, lots to do, and lots to grow.Â
We will be back at the Ottawa Street Farmers' Market in Hamilton from 8am-2pm on Saturdays starting this weekend! For our first week back, we have some spring greens, along with preserves and seedlings. Pick up some cold-hearty greens and herbs to plant in your garden this week - and maybe pick up your tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini and more while you're at it!Â
You can also order your seedlings online, from our webstore. Online orders for plants will be accepted until May 8th, after which you can still find a full selection in person.Â
Our on-farm market will be open this year on Wednesdays from 12-6pm and Saturdays from 11am-4pm, starting Saturday May 4th through the end of October. We will be trying out a combination of self-serve and being around to help you, so bear with us as we figure out the best set-up for our time and availability. Seedlings will be sold this year from our greenhouse, further from our driveway than in past years. If you are coming to the farm to buy your plants, and you need any accessibility accommodations, please let us know and we can do our best to help you!
For those who purchased e-giftcards over the winter, those can be used at market, for online orders and on farm. Remember to have your gift card number on hand when redeeming in person; to redeem for online orders, send us a message with your order # and gift card # for us to apply your credit.
