We will be starting our regular May deliveries this week. Some varieties of seedlings are selling out, but we hope to restock a few of them by next week for our later May deliveries (including some of those cherry tomato varieties!). Delivery days up to mid-May are pretty full, but there will still be time to get your garden in if you order soon.
We have been getting tons of plants in the ground, mostly under row cover to help speed growth. This hay field is really turning into a farm.
In addition to seedling orders, we will be delivering greens this week - fresh salad mix, stir fry mix and pea shoots. Our first field harvest of the year! Please order by Tuesday May 5th at 12pm for deliveries this Wednesday (Hamilton Area and Simcoe Area) and Saturday (Toronto Area). When ordering is closed, items will appear out of stock. Ordering for the following week's greens will start on Friday. Managing our delivery days and ordering deadlines will be a new challenge, and we hope to have all the of the kinks worked out before the CSA season starts in June! Regular order deliveries will continue to be an option through the season.
